Stopniowanie przymiotników - Test

Pamiętaj o ZASADACH STOPNIOWANIA:

1. Krótkie przymiotniki (1 sylaba) — END z -er/-est:

Adjective	Comparative	Superlative
big	bigger	the biggest
small	smaller	the smallest
tall	taller	the tallest
old	older	the oldest
young	younger	the youngest
fast	faster	the fastest
cheap	cheaper	the cheapest

Pamiętaj o pisowni:

• Końcówka spółgłoska + samogłoska + spółgłoska → podwajamy ostatnią: big → bigger, hot → hotter.
• Końcówka -y → zmieniamy na -i: happy → happier, easy → easier.
• Końcówka -e → dodajemy tylko -r/-st: nice → nicer, large → larger.

2. 2-sylabowe (zwykle) i 3+ sylab — more/most:

3. NIEREGULARNE — KLUCZOWE!

4. KLUCZOWA STRUKTURA W ZDANIACH:

• ✅ than w comparative: He is taller than me. / I am older than my brother.
• ✅ the w superlative: She is the most intelligent student.
• ✅ as + przymiotnik + as w równym stopniu: He is as tall as his father.

Pamiętaj o KLUCZOWYCH PUŁAPKACH MATURALNYCH:

1. Double comparative ("the more..., the more..."):

• ✅ The more I learn, the more I want to know.

2. "Less" jako "mniej" (przeciwieństwo "more"):

• ✅ This book is less interesting than that one.

3. "By far" — emfaza:

• ✅ He is by far the best player.

4. "Much/a lot/far/way" + comparative — wzmocnienie:

• ✅ She is much taller than me.
• ✅ This is a lot more expensive.

5. Klasyk pułapki: "good" vs "well":

• good (adjective): better, the best — opisuje rzeczowniki.
• well (adverb): better, the best — opisuje czasowniki. (mają taką samą formę stopniowania).
